Tunø’s natural landscape offers a wide range of wonderful activities. Whether you are into hiking, foraging, geology, fishing, water sports, stargazing, or running, Tunø is the perfect holiday destination for you.

Fishing and watersport

Great spots for fishing, kayak and SUP

Depending on the wind direction, you can fish along the entire coastline of Tunø. If you're lucky, you might catch a trout, and mackerel and flatfish are also common. You can even spot tuna leaping in the waters north of the island.

The sea also invites you to explore the island from the water, and several of our holiday homes provide SUP boards or kayaks for your use.

Restaurants, cafés, and more

At Tunø Harbor, you will find Tunø Røgeri, the island's harbor restaurant, offering a delicious selection for both lunch and dinner. There is also a shop on-site selling smoked goods and local specialties to go. In the center of the island is Blåkærgård – Tunø’s island hotel – a charming eatery serving homemade dishes and pizzas during the summer season.

In the village (Tunø By), you will also find Stalden, Mejeriet, Det Gamle Posthus, Café Lilleø, and the local grocery store.
